Alexander Hamilton advocated the creation of a permanent national debt and a national bank in order to bring national stability to America.

Hamilton made these proposals because he believed that a national bank would be able to lend money to the government of the country as well as hold its money deposits.

Also he believed that it was going to create a uniform currency for the people of the United States just as it was in Europe.
