Well jewish are decedents from Abraham which started the jewish religion, then it talks about in the bible where they got to the promise land and everything was going great until throughout history they got kicked out and but in chains which probably hurt the moral and some probably switched to other religions and later on in the muslim world during the caliphates lots of Muslims tried to convert jewish people to islam. They would either torture them or threaten to kill their families or even worse try to convince them that the jewish religion was false...
