A. X is the liters of apple juice in the punch, y is the total amount of punch.
B. There are 6 liters of apple juice present in the punch

75/100=x/y

Y= 25/100=2/y

I thought of it kind of like a proportion. After solving for y you would plug in whatever result you got for y, which in this case is 8.


So it would be 75/100=x/8
Solve that and you get 6 liters of apple juice


Together it’s 75/100=x/(25/100=2/y)
