Suppose the area of a square 16 yards. Find the perimeter of the square.
Part 1: Use the formula for the area of a square, (A=s^2 , where s is the side length of a square) to find the measure of one side.
Part 2: Recall that the perimeter of a square is the distance around it. Use your answer from part one and the formula P=4s to find the perimeter of the square.

Respuesta :

you take the area and find the square root
                       V                              V
                      16                              √
so you would be looking for √16 which equals 4

then you would add 4 by the length of the other 4 side to find the perimeter, which is ironically 16
