The Mayans had Pyramids which were used in Egypt as well, the Maya used the pyramids as temples but the Egyptians used theirs as tombs. Another similarity is that they also both had the use of hieroglyphics, which are writings made out of pictures, like many people say, pictures are worth a thousand words!
