Best not to use "x" to denote multiplication. "x" is usually a variable name in algebra.
3 times 3/5 comes out to 9/5, which is equivalent to 1 4/5.
You'd need to draw not one but two circles and divide each circle into 5 equal "slices." Then you'd shade one circle completely and shade 4 of the 5 slices of the other circle. 9 fifths (9 slices) would be shaded in all.
