Given that ;

y = 5 - 3x
and 5x = 4y - 3

Hence, we can substitute the value of " y " in 2nd equation :

aslike , 5x = 4 ( 5 - 3x ) - 3

Furthermore , it'll get reduced to ,

x = 1 and y = 2

Okay it’s the same answer as the other one.

STEPS: Substitute Y=5-3x into 5x-4y=-3
Should look like this: 5-4x (5-3x)=-3
Distribute——> Simplified is 17x-20=-3
Add 20 to both sides to get 17x by itself
-3+20 is 17 so how you should have 17x=17
Divide 17(x) to isolate the X.... X=1

SOLVING FOR Y
Substitute x=1 into y=5-3x
Should look like y=5-3(1)
Solve it and Y=2
