Hello there!

I'll walk you through each problem.

1) b. Canada. Unlike Hawaii (which is a state), Guam or Puerto Rico (which are US Territories), Canada is its own country.

2) c. a natural born US citizen. They are a natural born US citizen due to their parent's American nationality. They are a natural born citizen--not a naturalized one. The naturalization process is for immigrants who want to become a citizen, who have citizenship elsewhere. In addition to their American citizenship, they may be eligible for dual citizenship, if the country (Japan) allows.

3) b. the process of becoming a US citizen. Like I was saying, this is the process to become an American citizen, if you are from another country.

4) d. Americans are required to attend school until the are at least 16 years of age. The rest are not necessary.

5) d. to be guaranteed a trial by jury, people must be prepared to serve on one. This is the law. Once you are at least 18, if you are called for jury duty, it is the law to do so.

6) c. Only citizens may vote or hold public office. Non-citizens can serve in the US military, receive free public education, and be guaranteed free speech.

I hope this helps!
