Charydotoxin is a neurotoxin that comes from scorpion bite. The venom causes one to be hyperexcited. However, since the toxin is stable, it can take longer for it to take effect. Thus, this makes it possibly not a good toxin if immediate effect is desired.
Charybdotoxin is an amino acid neurotoxin extracted from the venom of the Leirus Quinquestatriatus Hebraus scorpion. Its original function is to cause hyperexcitability or excessive excitability on a living being. This makes this being to be extremely sensitive to any sort of external stimuli.
However, charybdotoxin contains a group of amino acids that, subjected to chemical modifications, can produce derivatives for very specific uses.
