(I AM READING "ENDER'S GAME")

Thank You so much. :)

Respuesta :

In the novel (Ender's Game) the author uses both formal and informal diction to convey his purpose. An example of informal diction is: “Cause you got none, Dink, that’s why.” Pg.81. An example of a formal diction for the book is: “I hope you will forgive me, Colonel Graff.” Pg.98. In characterization the author, throughout the novel builds up Ender’s personality. Sometimes Ender was nice and quiet, and sometimes Ender was dark and violent. The author used indirect characterization to show Ender’s personality. The author for diction uses a military tone as the setting of the book is in a children’s battle school, where kids are drafted to the military to help fight aliens in the future.
