please help me! A professor wants to determine whether performance in a statistics class can be influenced by the expectation of success. He will be teaching 9 sections of statistics over the next two years. He wants to tell the students in some sections that females perform better in statistics than males. In some other sections, he wants to say that males perform better in statistics than females. Design an experiment that uses both treatment groups and control groups

9 classes works out in triplicates. larger groups/sample size make for better results. you can find the average final grades of male and female students in each group #1,2,3. Then you can compare the differences in performance for groups #1 & #2 to the control group #3.

treatment group #1
3 classes - males told perform better
calculate average male and female scores.

treatment group #2
3 classes - females told perform better
calculate average male and female scores.

control group #3
3 classes - no expectation of better performance given.
calculate average male and female scores.
