well first we have to know the definition of impulse which would be  sudden, involuntary inclination prompting to action

So how can this relate to diet and sleep habits?

Well first of all we can say since acting on impulse is normally a thing we do that is in an instant and we don't typically think of the consequences till later we can safely say that a good example of this for dieting would be Stress Eating

Stress Eating is a good example of acting on impulse because you don't typically think about it so lets break it down

We went over that Impulse meant
sudden, involuntary inclination prompting to action so acting on impulse would just be acting on a  sudden, involuntary inclination that in turn would prompt and action, so the involuntary inclination here would be Stress and the prompted response to that stress would be to eat to soothe that stress

Or If you would like to talk about dieting as in taking less calorie intake in order to lose wait and eat healthier we could say the impulse would be to eat but we suppress that urge to eat and often eat a lot less. So we end up suppressing that impulse

It's the same with sleep habits, over sleeping and/or not getting enough sleep can be an impulse also related to stress or sometimes just another emotion like excitement or anger these are the involuntary inclinations that i was talking about so the response here would be to sleep or not sleep

I hope this helped and Brainliest much needed!! :)
