So we know that the product means we have to multiply the two integers and we know since it's a negative number for the product that one integer is going to be negative and the second is going to be positive.
why don't we make a product sandwich for the number 120 (We can figure out the negatives later) :
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, __ 12, 15, 20, 24, 30, 40, 60, 120

so this is how this works, the number on the opposite side is multiplied by the one in the same place on the other side so like this:

1 (left side) will be multiplied by 120 (right side); 2(left side) will be multiplied by 60 (right side); etc.

Now we need to figure out which pair of numbers when they subtract equals 2.

The pair when subtracted (largest number to smaller number) is the pair 10 and 12. We must make 12 the negative number otherwise the sum will be 2 instead of negative 2.

The pair 10 and -12 multiply to be -120 and add together and become a sum of -2
