Lets multiply the first two values
To do decimal multiplication we can easily multiply the numbers 5 times 5 = 25
then count the number of digits after the decimal (we have one digit each after decimal in both 0.5).Hence the decimal is placed two digits from the right in the answer
so that would be 0.25
now lets multiply the third value 0.5
[tex] (0.25).(0.5)=
Here again we will find the product of the values 25 times 5
=125
now lets count the digits after the decimal points ( there is two digits in 0.25 and one digit in 0.5 which makes it 3)
now move 3 points from the right in the answer 125
Which will give us 0.125
