In December of 1805 the Battle of Austerlitz was fought and won by Napoleon. This battle was also known as the Battle of the Three Emperors (France- Napoleon, Russia- Tsar Alexander, and Austria- Holy Roman Emperor Francis II). Napoleon felt this was a symbol of him being invincible because he defeated two very large empires with forces larger than what he had. This also ended the Holy Roman Empire.
