PLEASE HELP

What are some generalizations about French-speaking people or countries? Are they fair and accurate generalizations? If so why and if not, why not?

Discuss in English why these generalizations are made.

Respuesta :

One generalization is that the French are rude. This is due in part to the fact that they are much more matter-of-fact, or direct than Americans. Parisians also get annoyed because there are so many tourists. Another generalization is that the French drink wine all the time, this is not true necessarily. Many will have a glass with dinner, but they prefer not to drink the expensive stuff to get intoxicated. They actually have a much lower statistic for being intoxicated that Americans do. These are unfair generalizations because the majority of people have gained these ideas from watching movies or reading books.
