It
was on the 6th of August 1945 when the United States dropped ‘Little
Boy’, an atomic bomb, to Hiroshima and ‘Fat Man’ on Nagasaki on August 9
killing an estimation of 200,000 people. Because of this, Japan finally
surrendered at USS Missouri’s deck in Tokyo Bay on the 2nd day of
September 1945. The representatives present were people from the Empire of
Japan, the Republic of China, Provisional Government of the French Republic,
the Commonwealth of Australia, the United Kingdom of Great Britain, United
States of America and Northern Ireland, the Union of Soviet Socialist
Republics, the Dominion of Canada, the the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the
Dominion of New Zealand.
