Revolution is the coined term for events in England on the 17th
century. It became the turning point of England in its struggle for power
between monarchy and parliament. The cause for this was when James took over
the throne after his brother, Charles, died in 1685. Being a Catholic Christian
against the parliament who were Protestant Christians, made the officials plan
to seize the throne out of him. After letting James’ son-in-law (to his
daughter Mary) signed the Bill of Rights, England’s government became more
democratic as it was modeled after the Britain’s system.
