If the dimensions are doubled then the area will be four time the original size.
For example:
A of the original = 3*9 = 27
A of the doubled dimensions = (3*2)(9*2) = (6)(18) = 108
108/27 = 4
So the area of the double dimension rectangle is 4 times the original size.
