Because if we don't do something about it, people could die. We should care about what our first amendment rights say about guns, and also take into consideration what would happen if citizens could not defend themselves in a difficult situation. Keep in mind; people will always find ways around laws.

So let's say America bans guns; the law abiding citizens will obey those laws and not own guns, but when a crook who disobeys those laws comes barging in to schools, stadiums etc. they (the law abiding citizens) can do nothing about it. This is basically how Hitler became so powerful. He banned guns. 
Criminals will always find a way to get guns. I think it's important to stop them from obtaining guns, but remember to keep our citizens safe. I take no side in the matter, but I encourage people to think about criminals. I'm just using logic. They are criminals for a reason. They will not obey more gun laws.

gun control is important cuz' w/o it, anyone can get gun. gun kills ppl so it should be controlled. its not like a knife or stick which can be used as weapon too. but gun kills so much faster.

ppl argue gun rights is protected by US consititution but wat it said was abt militia which is the equivalent of national guards. guardsmen of cuz need to be armed 2 do their jobs. but regular ppl's right to bear arms should be controlled.

in conclusion gun kills ppl n we need gun control law.
