STEP 2
Divide total number of pieces by 7 friends
225 ÷ 7= 32.14

STEP 3
32 * 7 friends= 224 pieces divided among friends

STEP 4
225 total pieces - 224 pieces divided among friends= 1 pieces left for him

ANSWER: Each friend gets 32 pieces and he has 1 piece left for himself.
