Nick gets out of school at 2:25 p.m he gas a 15-minute ride home on the bus. Next he goes on a 30-minute bikr ride. Then he spens 55 minutes doing homework. At what time does nick finsh his homework?

So we just add these durations (lengths of time) to the time he starts all of these activities. 

He starts at 2:25. We add +0:15 to get 2:40. Then, we add +0:30 to get 3:10. Finally, we add +0:55 to get 4:05 p.m.

2:25 + :15 = 2:40 + :30 = 3:10 + :55 = 4:05

Nick finishes his homework at 4:05 p.m.
