Hildegard of Bingen would found a convent, compose music, and become one of the few prominent women in the history of the Church. She had visions as a child that led her to become a nun and serve Jesus with her life. Unlike others that had visions, the Catholic Church would actually approve of the visions that Hildegard. This approval was what helped her to establish her convent and attract followers.
