When people are traveling on a road or on a highway, travelers can always expect to see information about the road on which they are traveling such as curves in the road, speed limits, speed suggestions, road/highway names, etc. Signage works well in most conditions; however, for some road situations special caution is taken to help ensure information will not be missed by travelers. As an extra step/precaution, white painted letters and symbols are placed on the surface of the roadway; this measure helps prevent what would could potentially be a dangerous/deadly situation.
