Capillary interact with the respiratory system by allowing gas exchange to the alveolus. The gas inside the capillary is high in carbon dioxide and low in oxygen, but gas in alveolus is high in oxygen and low in carbon dioxide. The capillary will release CO2 and takes O2 as the result.
