Oooh! I loved learning about the Scientific Revolution!
Here's some important people and what they did:
Copernicus--He came up the the Heliocentric idea (the theory that Earth Orbited around the Sun.).
Galileo-- He invented the telescope and microscope. He was able to defend the widely disbelieved Heliocentric idea WITH the telescope. A lot of people (mainly the church) were upset with his work, and he was actually kept on house arrest.
Issac Newton--He created accurate models of the universe based off the knowledge of universal gravitation that was known at the time. He created the Laws of Motion and the Law of Universal Gravitation. Very influential dude.
There's definitely more people involved with the SR, but these three are among the most well known and popular.
