It is impossible to judge if there is more mental illness now than in the past. Mental illness classifies depression into different types for example; Dysthymia which is an essence of having a depressed mood, major depressive disorder, secondary depression, depression not otherwise specified, exogenous depression.
It is impossible judging for mental illness in the modern world that in the past. The metal illness can categorize depression into a variety of types based on its nature; for instance, there is Dysthymia; this is a condition that happens when a person has terrible moods. Therefore this is likely to cause disorders in the functionality of the body.
Mental disorder is like any other illness that should be given attention from the doctor. Sometimes people tend to deny the fact that depression can be severe and may lead to severe problems.
