Having the right knowledge the person who witness an accident can make a difference in saving the injured person. The steps one should take would be first is to survey the scene. This is a way of making sure the victim or even the responder is not in danger. If possible drag the victim to a safe place if in case he or she is in more possible danger. Second, call for help or send someone to call for help in case phone service is not available. Third, check the patient by doing the ABC which is Airway, Breathing and Circulation. Fourth,If patient is conscious ask some information before patient arrives like his or her name just to check if he or she is still oriented. If no pulse or breathing, do CPR. Lastly, stay with the patient until help arrives to make sure he or she will be receive treatment.
