You substitute the X with the domains
TMP1
Take each of the numbers chosen and replace them for "x" for each equation.

For example, for "a" if you were to choose -3 as "x" you would have
[tex]y = 3( - 3) + 1[/tex]
Then solve.
[tex]y = - 9 + 1[/tex]
[tex]y = - 8[/tex]
So if the Domain is -3, y= -8

Similarly for "b"
If you choose -3, the equation will be
[tex] - 3 = 4 + y[/tex]
Solve.
(subtract 6 to the other side)
[tex] - 7 = y[/tex]
So if the domain was -3 for "b" y=-7.

Now Just do the same way with the other numbers. Remember, domain means the x value.
You can do it :)
