How did Elijah Lovejoy and William Lloyd Garrison contribute to the abolitionist movement?

William Lloyd Garrison was an American abolitionist who published a newspaper called The Liberator which was an abolitionist piece of literature and kept on publishing until the end of slavery. Reverend Lovejoy or Elijah Parish Lovejoy was a reverend who published anti-slavery articles in various newspapers. He also started an abolitionist paper called the Alton Observer.

Lovejoy has a paper newspaper as well called St. Louis Observer which was an ant slavery paper anti abolishionist destroyed his printing press for the 3rd time so Lovejoy left Missouri and we to free state Illinois and started a newspaper The Observer his printing press was attacked and gunfire was exchanged and Lovejoy was killed
