Describe the verbal exchange that occurs between the two opposing armies in act 5.1. Julius Caesar

Scene 1 of Act 5 of Julius Caesar begins with the different battlefield plans of Octavius and Antony. Opposing army consists of the authority of Brutus and Cassius. When the former army leaders go to meet with Brutus and Cassius, they exchange insults. Octavius draws his sword and calls for the revenge of Caesar. The parties again insult each-other and depart.    




In Act 5, scene 1, we see the armies of Octavius and Antony first. They enter the scene as a messenger arrives to report that the enemy is ready for battle. Antony and Octavius disagree as to the best course of action. Antony does not like the fact that his authority is questioned.

However, soon the enemy factions arrive. These are the armies of Brutus and Cassius. It also includes Titinius, Lucillius and Messala. Antony and Octavius go to meet Brutus and Cassius. The leaders insult each other, and they start to become angry. Octavius swears to kill the traitors, but they eventually part to get their armies ready for battle.
