How I would solve this is algebraically. See below:
[tex]7* \frac{n}{2} = \frac{n+5}{7} *7[/tex] (Multiply by 7 to get rid of denominator on right side.
[tex]2* \frac{7n}{2} = (n+5) * 2[/tex] (Multiply by 2 to get rid of denominator on left side.
[tex]7n=2n+10[/tex]
[tex]5n=10[/tex] (subtract 2n from both sides)
[tex]n=2[/tex] (divide both sides by 5)
