Micronutrients are also known to be essential to the body but small amount. Vitamins and minerals can be refers to micronutrients, however,  body needs 28 essential micronutrients to survive. Macronutrients are known to be nutrients that usually give the body its energy in other to perform essential functions. Thus, the three macronutrients were proteins, carbohydrates and fats and each nutrients enable the body to perform essential functions like thinking, walking and converting food into energy for growth and repairing worn out tissue.
