Respuesta :

Answer:

A limiting factor is the factor which negatively affects the growth, abundance and distribution of a species in an ecosystem. Example of limiting factor resource  (food, shelter), predator, natural disasters and other factors. A grass being a limiting factor after the wildfire for the growth of bison population in the prairie ecosystem will likely to cause decrease, extinction and migration of the bison from the prairie ecosystem. As, grass is the chief vegetation in the prairie ecosystem and population of bison is largely dependent on the grass.

Answer:

If a portion of grass in a prairie ecosystem was destroyed due wildfire. The population dependent on the grass will die after sometime due to lack of food.

The bison eats grass as a source of energy and if the population has decreased then the population dependent on grass will also die.

Green grass are producers of the ecosystem that is consumed by the consumers for energy.
