Ecozone divides the land of the surface of earth. There are eight ecozones in total. They are also known as the bio-geographic realm. Every country has an ecozone which is determined by the location of that country on the particular latitudes and longitudes on the surface of earth.
Like this only ecozone of North America is Nearctic, that of South America is Neotropic. The ecozone of Africa is Afrotropic. Some countries have more than one ecozone also like Canada has five ecozones.
