Teenagers could be too risk taking. They could be too willing to do anything in order to have fun. They're also too trustworthy of others by accepting what's given to them such as tobacco, drugs, or alcohol. These were just some of the many natures of teens' problems.

Teenagers problems that are usually faced by them nowadays includes drinking, smoking, cyber addiction, bullying at school or at home, depression, anxiety, stress, self esteem, sex at an underage or pregnancy, competition or pressure.

Teenage years are most important because during this time the mind of a child is maturing. During this time the person undergo physical, mental and emotional changes.  

Causes and effects of teenagers’ problems:

Teenagers’ issues are caused by various factors which may be social, cultural, technological, familial, individual or economical.  Excessive bullying, peer pressure and competition, drug abuse and smoking mostly cause the problems at a teenage.  

Puberty:

Mostly teenagers’ problems arise due to puberty.  Puberty brings many changes in teenager both mentally and physically. His physique changes upon reaching at teenage. He also becomes mature mentally. He gets more awareness of the opposite gender. Acne is also a major issue of many teenagers because it may causes low self esteem. Also eating habits causes problems such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.

Peer pressure:  

Peer pressure is also a major issue as in teenage many teenagers have very active social circle, they meet many people and become their friends. Friends are helpful and beneficial but some friends are not helpful or supportive instead of beneficial they are dangerous to them as he get involved in negative activities such as smoking, drinking, robbery etc.  

Family status:

Family status is also a big issue of teenagers. Some teenagers have dysfunctional families who have low income or are poor. Such teenagers suffer from suicidal thoughts, poor image of themselves and low self respect.
