Bee orchids are flowering plants that look like they have a female bee resting on them. Bee
orchids produce a scent that mimics hormones released by female bees. This scent attracts
male bees that are seeking a mate. When a male bee lands on the orchid, pollen becomes
stuck to the hairs on the body of the bee. The male bee then transfers the pollen to other bee
orchids.
