There are different stage of mitosis. The phase of the cell cycle that is the highlighted cell is anaphase.
The first step in mitosis is the Prophase phase. It is known to be the first phase of mitosis as it start with the division of centriole and later on centrioles then moves to the opposite poles.
Anaphase is known to be the fourth phase of mitosis. This is there is separation of the duplicated genetic material that is to be carried in the nucleus of a parent cell which will then form into two identical daughter cells.
In this stage, the separated chromosomes are said to be pulled by the spindle to two opposite poles of the cell.
