Answer: A.this clumsy living
In "The Swan," by Rainer Maria Wilke, we are reminded of the way the swan walks. Swans tend to walk in an awkward, clumsy way when out of the water. They seem to struggle, and do it clumsily. The author compares this to how we live our own lives. He states that "this clumsy living that moves lumbering as if in ropes through what is not done reminds us of the awkward way the swan walks."
