However, as we shall see below, recent efforts to elaborate and further clarify this idea show that although some of its fundamentals are insignificant, management based on evidence presents major challenges, threats, and opportunities. Far from normal business practice, the systematic and rigorous use of evidence appears to represent a significant difference from what organizations typically do. However, it makes sense that when managers act on logic and better evidence, their business will outperform the competition. Therefore, research on evidence-based management is all about developing and highlighting the best evidence for how businesses should be managed. Also, teach managers the right mindset and methods to practice evidence-based management.
