Respuesta :

The state that was most affected by this regional disaster was Oklahoma.

The correct answer is: Oklahoma

Dust Bowl makes reference to a section of the Great Plains of the U.S. It covers south eastern Colorado, southwestern Kansas, the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma, and northeastern New Mexico. The name comes from the sever dust storms these regions suffered during a dry period in the 1930's while the Great Depression was taking place, making it's negative effects even worse. High  winds and chocking dust swept the region form Texas to Nebraska, killing people and cattle, forcing massive migration.

Oklahoma was the most affected state, 440,000 people were forced to migrate west looking for work as they were severely hit by poverty. From 1935 to 1940, a lot of them arrived to California facing discrimination, menial lanor and bad wages. The word "Oki" first used to refer to them, was later used to name any poor Dust Bowl migrant.
